Warren Nelson is an established and versatile professional with an outstanding record of commitment and accomplishments as a manager, planner, community organizer and community economic development change agent for community-based human service programs. He has over 20 years of successful experience in developing, implementing and directing community-based programs such as the Center for Poverty Solutions, the Maryland Justice Coalition and the Center for Community Organization and Management.
Warren has a demonstrated ability to work in the community to identify issues of concern to residents, develop leadership capacity at the community level and foster solution-oriented dialogue to promote empowerment and grass-roots initiatives.
Warren has a BA in Human and Social Resources from Sojourner-Douglass College and an MS in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University.
